Haha he did say that he uses it for promotional use such as videos and pictures, he just likes it cause its set up like most of his jazzmasters and he has it as a back up incase something happens. He also used it on the Late Show
Actually, from his stage guitars I like the sig guitar most. The white one and the sunburst dont really fit him, i think...

He may use them on stage, but I guarantee they do not contain the original shit pickups!
I still like the look of the sig model!

That Jaguar used in the video is used by Jack Black in the School of Rock special features.

in case you didn't know, it's one of SY's guitars, and the girl playing it is thurston moore and kim gordon's daughter coco.

I actually didn't know that, but I swear it's the same one.

I think it's really odd to see him playing it now that I know it's SY's.

In that photo Jack Black looks like a portly Eddie Van Halen (1980s model, not the new haggardly looking tramp).

what's really odd is that I have a Lithium X-Mas sticker just like the one below the trem plate on one of my guitars...they were a band out of Dallas or maybe Denton.

I believe the "making of" documentary that was a feature in the bonus section of the School of Rock DVD shows O'Rourke working with the kids as a musical advisor to the film...I think Thurston was in a few frames too....

Yeah that is the case actually. I don't know if I saw Thurston on there.
