Just thought I'd let everyone know? As I am posting this, I see this more and more insignificant.  :-\

I have 9's on it now, but I think I am going to beef up to 11's. eh?

9s? They must feel like spaghetti!

I use thicker strings (I use 12s) on short-scale instruments (MMs are 24" scale, earlier ones even came in a 22.5" scale). I love those things and they're still cheap on eBay - I often find that I can get one with a stripped finish for around $300-$350 and then have some fun with colors etc. I actually got one in the mail this morning - an early '76 model just before they went to the one-piece pickguard (ie mine still has the smaller pickguard and separate chrome control plate). You got that message because it is in the For Sale/Trade section, and that's only open to users with more than 50 posts. Don't worry - you're almost there!

I love Music Masters, I wished I had the skrill to pick that one up from Jay when he was selling it.  But, I'm glad to see it still on the board.  Enjoy the heck out of it!

I can't see it either, but I have a '58 Musicmaster that is a fantastic sounding & playing guitar.
