Thanks, much appreciated!
The name of the song is silly wordplay on baritone and the name of a famous belly dancer in my old country.

Jamie Stillman from Earthquaker (and Party of Helicopters if you’re old school like me) talking about his Jazzmasters. Seems to have a fondness for blocks from the look of it.

Hi,
Not youtube but vimeo, hope I'm not in a wrong section.
I was lucky enough to play Guitar Trio with Rhys Chatham back in June 2015.
I'm on the left with the white Jaguar.
Filmed by Rhys camera.

so one band i always thought were underrated was the plot to blow up the eiffel tower and i found this clip of their guitar player using a toronado. also he gets bonus points for his matamp green cabs with what looks like a marshall JMP.

I love Party of Helicopters. their last album is perfect. he seems like a nice dude.
many years ago I was in touch with him re. POH
soon after he was on tour with Black Keys and invited me to go along to see em and catch up.
trouble is I live hours away from the show. shoulda gone as he seemed like a top bloke.

Stillman seems like a nice dude. He's friends of friends of mine from that era. I saw POH close to 10 times which is nuts for not living in their state or even a neighboring one. I saw them pretty much every tour from 1997 - 2005 when I lived in Knoxville, TN. First time they were an offshoot of Stillman's pre-POH band Harriet the Spy (old screamo? mathrock stuff where he drummed I believe). I had no idea about the Black Keys thing until Earthquaker had been a thing for years already. It was weird since I def do not like the Black Keys and hadn't followed them. Big time POH fan though. Mount Forever is a classic in my house and so is Please Believe It and that weird double EP thing that came out sometime between them.

yeah - every 6 months or so Please Believe It becomes a staple around our house too. over and over (sorry, family)
I found them when I heard Cover Me on live365 one day (2003 from what I remember) while working and BOOM ! I hadsta know more.
such a good find. was stoked when Bifocal Media sent me a test pressing of Please Believe It sometime long ago when I'd asked them if they had any merch/launch paraphernalia...sweet eh
