Fujigen Airline copy, what's the word? Fujigen PP-Series

As far as I know these were only sold in Japan. Has anyone here ever come across one on the used market, eBay, CL or the like? There was a long stretch of time, maybe 2 or 3 years that I searched just about every day on eBay and never saw one pop up. My interest has been reignited in possibly getting one. Has anyone on the forum owned one or played one? I know we have a few members that either live over there or visit there. I'm curious how rare they are.
Model name: PP-420
Body: Basswood
Neck: Maple 1PC
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Scale: 319mm
Frets: 22 Frets, Medium
Tuners: Gotoh SD91-05M
Bridge: FGT-K (Fujigen original)
Pickups: RTS x 2 (Fujigen original)
Controls: 1Vol, 1Tone, 3-way toggle switch "
I guess they were made for one year, between 98' and 99'.
Shonenknofe - good views of the sig model.

Delicious Naoko signiture model...german carve? Plus custom pickup covers and bound neck. They certainly know how to do up a sig model over there!
And since we are on the topic anyways, what's the word on these reissues?

...Teisco Spectrum? Need the XII-stle pickups on that burgundy mist one... Nice zero frets too. Fujigen made those as well? Guess they can kinda go all out...

That's a nice geetar. Bit of a stretch to call it an Airline copy, though - it almost has as much in common with a Vox Phantom....with a Swinger-style chunk out of the bottom.
What's the source of that Teisco Spectrum pic? Isn't it just a modified original (the badge on the headstock looks like a Teisco one, though it's quite hard to tell)?

I'm off to work but thought I'd give a really quick reply.
I only meant in the shape of it, does it look like an Airline. Pretty darn close aside for the butt end.
Here's the link for the purple "Teisco". I don't know if Fujigen also made these or not. The black one was put out by a company called "Fine" I believe.

He says the Teisco was released a few years ago, and that post is from 09. I'm actually surprised more Teisco copies weren't made at the height of the craze.

By the looks of it, Teisco began making guitars again sometimes in the early 90's...92' keeps coming up as the first year it seems. Not sure if someone bought the rights to Teisco or what exactly.

Re-launch of the production spectrum in 1992, it seems that it was referred to as "Limited" Initially, I was surprisingly well received, I sold was continued for about the next 15 years.
Details are unknown because the sales period was longer, but I heard there is also a part of the specification is slightly different in the early type and late type. It is also unknown year of manufacture of an individual of this image.
Lots of close up pictures...

I'd love to learn more about the relaunch of these guitars and how it came about. I doesn't appear that they were limited to just a one year production run either. I'm sort of surprised more of these haven't popped up for sale though.
Found a little bit more info on the black "Fine" branded Spectrum copy as well. Thought I saw a thread on it some where...this must of been it.

As for the Fujigen guitar I haven't been able to find much more info on it other then a list of models. It seems that body shape was part of the "PP Series" which came in a few different flavors.
PP Series models wrote:
▼ PP3-950
(Single + humbucker tailpiece, tune · O · matic, large, color: white, ultramarine blue (), gold)
▼ PP3-550
(3 single, tune · O · Mattick, Color: White)
▼ PP4-450
(2 single bridge tailpiece only, such as LP Jr, Color:. Aqua, pink)
▼ PP4-380
(2 single, tune · O · matic, color: blue sexy wisteria (), red with a red slug ())
And just for fun I came across two custom guitars inspired by the Teisco Spectrum that I thought would be appreciated around these parts.

And for those that prefer more conservative colors...
This is one of those guitars I look at and think "damn, why didn't I think of that!" Really really beautifully done. Although I may have gone the reverse route with the flat top/binding on the face of the guitar rather then a back. Never the less a really really nicely done pair of guitars right there.

I'm only guessing but I don't think you'll find many, if any outside of Japan.

Neither, actually. Mine is a Taiwanese copy (Hsin-Mi brand) of the Teiscos, from about 40 years ago.
