Any good? I had a brief look at one in my local guitar shop, the neck seemed way way too thin for me so never bothered to pick it up and play it.
Cheers

The Galaxie's quite good actually. The treble pickup is a little hot I think.
The neck is OK but I find the fretboard to be a little modern and flat for me, but apart from that it's a nice player. It's very light and feels quite dinky on the strap!
Sound-wise it's sort of mid-way between a Jag and Jazzmaster and the trem is rather nice too.
All in all, for the money, it's nice, although I think if I had to choose between the Hofner and a Squier Jazzmaster (especially the JMJM) I would choose a Squier.

Interesting, cheers for your thoughts. I've always thought they looked pretty cool too, just the neck and the 3 pickups put me off.
Cheers

I can imagine that the on/off slider switches might be a bit of a hassle for some people, but I suppose us offsetters are used to that sort of malarkey on our Jags and Mustangs!

Friendly suggestion: you can just edit the original post so it's got the image embedded/ name added.
Also a lot of these are still pretty Fender-y, not that there's anything bad about that! One of my favorite offsets has always been the Mosrite VIII
