Niiiice.  Jim's is right down the road from me, lemme know if you want an in-hand description.  He gets some sick clean stuff in there - he has a literally mint SB L-Series strat that looks like the day it left the factory, case, candy, everything.  Like Gil at Southworth, he's got a soft spot for custom color offsets, but the prices he asks make me smile - wonder if he actually gets over $20K for a Jazzmaster?

One of my 'go to sites' for offset guitar dreaming for sure , but I consider myself to be one of the crazier offset lovers out there, and I won't pay those prices...

Gil has a gorgeous dakota 65 that I've been drooling over too (plus compared to Jim's Jags it seems almost reasonable) ......

Man, custom colors are going through the roof!  Literally 1-2000 dollars every year.  I don't even get it.  I thought Jags and JM's would stay under 10,000 for at least a few more years.

Spoke to purpleguitars the other day,they're saying 9000 Euros now for the custom colour jazzmasters,and those were well worn,a black one and a white one.Cheapest jazzer they had was 6000 Euros.They'd be asking about twice what i payed for the sunburst '62 i bought from them just last year.

I make a point to pop in there every now and then and I am always impressed by the guitars and amps in there...and always blown away by what they're asking for them, especially the amps.  For a place that doesn't advertise their amps and says "no amp email" they certainly have very ambitious prices (like close to twice market price)  :-[.
