Anyone ever deliberately mismatch headstock and body colors?

Re: Anyone ever deliberately mismatch headstock and body colors?
I have two guitars with mismatched colored headstocks. Here's my Fender American '62 Reissue JM neck with a sonic blue headstock and daphne blue Squier CV '60s JM body build (with Fralin Hum-Cancelling Jazzmaster pickups). I was initially hoping it would match but I quite like the slight variation as they still complement each other.
Here's my NGD today Squier Contemporary Jaguar HH ST with black headstock. Looks killer with the shoreline gold body. Also, loving the roasted maple neck with laurel fretboard.
Here they are together:

i love the current trend of headstock matching the pickguard. the gold and black jag is super hot. my harvester may end up with that kinda scheme. can’t wait to post photos.

These Dave’s necks are lovely necks. I have one on my parts master, and while my other necks are great as well, I gravitate towards the Dave’s neck the most.
I had my whole guitar refinished by MJT to match it all up

Not too sure about this myself tbh, tried it out of curiosity. AV65 body, AVRI62 (refinned headstock) neck.
It’s I guess this technically makes it a partscaster, but to me it will always be my AV65 with a different neck.

I recently built this from parts:
I think mis-matching works best when it's echoing another colour on the guitar - normally pickguard

Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Yup lovely neck and clay dots a nice touch, Got mine from Stratosphere.. They were advertised as 7.5 initially but they rectified their add "after" I pointed this out.
How did you like the rosewood? Stratosphere had a stock photo so couldnt pick a specific neck.. Mine turned up quite light.
Guitar could play better but I put this down to my set up.. Gonna mess with some shims today.
Oh yea.. slipped up with my description, Body is AV 65 not AVRI.
