It's an Aria Diamond.
I talked about it in the GAS thread... the price was to high but it didn't sell and was relisted at a lower price so I bought it !
It from the 70s, it's basically the same guitar than the Epiphone ET-270.
I was looking for something closer the Jaguar sound but was kind of afraid of the really short scale, this one has a Mustang/Gibson scale so it's a good compromise.
I actually had the choice between this one and a nice red refinished Epi ET-270 (with matching headstock)... but I choosed the Aria because unlike the Epi, the trem arm is included and I'll feel more confident with a Fender like headstock... the Les Paul like break so easily.
Also, Oliver Ackerman's all white Jaguar must have put some kind of influence on my choice..
More when I'll have it.
Oh and before you guys ask for it: Yes I'll put a pair of Doug's white witch hats on it.

Absolutely gorgeous guitar, well done.

Thanks !
... They'll probably end up in the guitar fomerly known as the Messblaster...
... it seems there's an "actress" called like this... maybe I should put a decal of her on the guitar ?
I didn't say I were going to throw them !theworkoffire wrote: NO!!!!!!! Those knobs are lovely - don't you dare swap them (though if you do can you send them directly to me, seriously)

I dig the tremolo on it, it's raw yet, functional

So is it the white one you've bought or the stripped one? Or is that the same guitar before and after some work? And if so will you get the missing pickup? The stripped one has a neck-access truss rod, I noticed.

nice
but it 's a 24.75' scale like a Gibson, right ?
Mustangs are 22.5' or 24'.

Additionally, if you're looking for a cheap Fender Swinger guitar, your search will not be helped by a Google Images search for "stripped Swinger".theworkoffire wrote: Though don't Google Image search it beyond page 2 with your spouse/kids/boss in the room...WTF?
