Mastery Bridge Lost Screw

Post by orymr » Sat Nov 21, 2020 11:01 am

Hello everyone, that's my first post on the forum.

Last day i gave my 62 Avri Jazzmaster to my local luthier for routin check-ups, when i went back to take my guitar, he told me one screw is missing in the bridge. I think it's called "vented screw"

I'm pretty sure i didn't lost it, furthermore it's needed to be disassembled with an allen wrench. but anyways... it's lost now and i can't adjust the bridge height and also it slips back and forth :'(

I've mailed to woody@masterybridge.com yesterday, but no answer yet. I'm not from the US (and also sorry for my English). Is there any other option anyone knows?

That's the missing vented screw:

Try amanda@masterybridge.com instead. I recently had to order a replacement vibrato arm and she replied within minutes and sent me an invoice. I had the replacement arm within a week.

Welcome to the forum, and please don't feel you have to apologize for your English. This is an international kind of place and everyone should feel at home to communicate any way they want to.

Good luck with your guitar!
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

My experience with Mastery is that their responses aren't lightening fast but that they are very willing to help their customers out.

I personally got a new saddle to replace one where the G-string had worn a groove in the plating.
