Been stuck waiting for a Coronado 2 neck and some control knobs like on the Strat Jazzmaster Pawnshop thingy that have taken over a month to arrive. That's due to slow shipping from China.... and Jazzmaster pickups I've been waiting for even longer from Dylan Talks Tone as he had supply problems for pickup covers. They are now finally on their way.
Ended up changing my controls for my Jazzmaster/Jaguar/Strat project to Jag controls as it became apparent that the Dano type stacked 1 Meg/100K pot I was going to use for the lipstick pickup wasn't going to materialise - and neither were stacked twin 1 meg pots or 1 meg pots with push/pulls.

Had no problem getting 1 meg pots though - CustomWorld in the Netherlands.

What I love is that once the parts do get here, FedEx ALWAYS mis-delivers them. I just had them turn around in my driveway without delivering my StewMac package. A few months ago, they delivered a neck to a Home Depot 20 miles away...and my favorite was the delivery of a Telecaster that required signature to a house almost a mile away. At least they got the right neighborhood for that one. :fp:

Never FedEx, not even once.

I gave up on 1000K pots and got an Emerson JM harness with 500K pots.

Now I'm waiting on a nice all brass bridge and tremolo unit for my brown Stratocaster, I have in fact embraced the earth tones:

Coming from Bulgaria, I think.

So far I have been super lucky and everything for the strat-o-stang has actually showed up reasonably quickly. But Riley's out of AVRI strat trems and I ordered one from a Reverb seller who... created a label instantly and haven't shipped the thing for more than a week, and also aren't responding to my 'hey what's up' messages.

I'm guessing they listed what they don't yet have, and aren't getting any faster than Riley, but this is making me worry about actually finishing this project any time soon.

Not parts as such, but I did order and pay for a Fender hard case for my Jaguar back in Oct/November that still hasn't arrived yet. I chase the dealer every month, who always promise to get back to me, but never do until I email them the next month. I've got a gig bag for it, but having gone to the trouble of a strip and refinish I'd prefer to take it out in something more substantial.

It took about a month to get certain parts for a Strat build I did earlier this year. One shop claimed 'in stock' but when pressed it turned out the parts were in stock with their supplier...not the same thing because after 3-4 weeks they still couldn't give me a date for delivery despite claiming 4-5 days when I ordered it. >:( I cancelled the order when I found another supplier who confirmed in stock and came within 2 days. Otherwise I'd still be waiting I think. ::)

I am anxiously waiting on the plunger for my vintage Jaguar project. Also a wood shim for it. Those two things are the last parts I need to be able to hear it.... It is just sitting on my kitchen island..... :( LOL

I’ve been mostly lucky. the emerson pro stuff is always out of stock or backordered. but I’ve had no issue getting other 1meg pots in linear or log for amps or guitars the past couple months.

I just paid the warmoth waiting tax for a xii neck, but I don’t even have a body blank yet.

The one thing I am feverishly anticipating is a guitar from a brilliant luthier. my first custom! so excited!

Parts for everything are difficult, not just guitars. Electronic, mechanical, engineering... we've been waiting on lawnmower parts (nothing especially obscure) for nearly two months, lucky it's Winter here.

Truth. It took two months for me to get a faucet replacement part.

I'll tell you who is waiting for parts is Francisco who I gave my old Jazzmaster pickups to but a week later we hadn't remembered to get them to the post office.

I don't know if it counts as parts, but my most recent bundle of couch straps is currently in week 4 of bouncing around the West Coast of the US (and now disappeared for a week) and it was due to land in the UK a week after dispatch. F*** knows where it is or when it might show up.

Everything else has crossed the pond with quite a bit of speed in the last couple of months
