Jaguar Pickup Identification

Post by JSett » Wed May 18, 2022 10:20 pm

Good morning/evening/midday all (delete as applicable to your timezone).

I have this pair of Jaguar pickups I'm trying to identify. They came out of my '65 as 'non original'. There appears to be no markings on them at all. At first I thought they may be Duncan Antiquity but not so sure. Current hot-contender are Pickup Wizard as, from what I can tell, most of the points of note line up. That being said... points of note:
  • Staggered poles
  • Non-bevelled pole tops
  • Cloth wires (black/white & black/red)
  • Lightly potted (with claws in place)
  • 6.67k & 6.61k respectively
  • Old looking creamed covers (not faux creme) but no tan lines
  • Bottom of poles do not stick out particularly far from bobbin
  • The link between the claw and ground wire is (currently detached) stranded wire and not the solid type found on OG and Fender AV examples.
Of anyone has any ideas that would be super helpful.

Thanks!

After more digging, and some questions asked elsewhere, I have concluded that these are Pickup Wizard ones. Everything appears to line up.

Onto Reverb they go!
