It seems the Pyramids are no longer available for sale anywhere in the state... I've reached out to several on line retailers... hopefully I will get some good news.

Does anyone know the heaviest option there is for bass vi strings?

Some company was offering custom string gauges, and can't recall who - can anyone remember who this company was? I want some even thicker/heavier strings than what I've found.

LaBella offers custom gauges.
What are you looking for? I have a .105" in my parts boxed (unused) that you can have for free. Only issue is that I am out of the country until the 5th of August.

I used to use the D'Addario EXL156s on my Bass VI tuned E-E and didn't find them terrible. I guess it's horses for courses though.

(I use .68s now for B-B tuning)

Fender 24-100 Gauge strings are my favorite, I use those on my 30 inch scale Mini Acoustic Bass VI. Fender addressed the floppy Low E String problem by bumping up the gauges of the 3 lowest strings a bit.
