Magnetic Polarity on 65 Jag

Post by Ground Control » Mon Aug 03, 2020 9:57 am

Just a question on the Pickup Magnetic Polarity on a 1965 Fender Jaguar, should North on neck and North on bridge be correct for readings. :)
Cheers

IIRC, that’s not the way it should be. One should be N, the other S, as is typical of a vintage JM.

FWIW Pure Vintage 65's are north neck and south bridge. Thus hum-cancelling in middle position.
