Good to finally have some numbers on this for the common modern lock trems. In summary:
MIJ: 51mm
AVRI (MIA): ~55-56mm
Classic Player (MIK): ~56-57mm

So ... AVRI and CP about the same. MIJ (always?) quite a bit narrower.

One would guess that vintage would be close to AVRI, and the AVRI and Am Pro trems the same, since they were probably all made with same/similar MIA tooling. But any actual vintage and Am Pro measurements appreciated.

Well that's curious. I had no idea that the CP (MIK but fitted to MIM instruments) has a touch wider spacing.

Yeah interesting that the MIK trem is presumably modelled on the MIA part, given the closeness in E-E spacing. Incidentally, I'm always a bit worried that the 5% of the world's population that doesn't use metric may struggle with a good 'feel' for the real size of mm differences. For example, a US guitar manufacturer was somewhat over-zealous in converting their pickup height recommendations, suggesting that 2.381mm was the ideal height. ;)

Zero sympathy.

That's just payback for the insanity of stuff like 'oh yeah, you only want between 1/16" and 5/64" clearance there, 3/32" is probably a bit too much'.

True ! And before someone reminds us which country got to the moon first (which often happens over on TGP when metric comes up), NASA uses metric (and the one time they got their imperial/metric units mixed up, they crashed an orbiter into Mars because of it). ;)

And also maybe some measurements on the Descendant, Mastery, etc...?
