Switchcraft Toggle Help

Post by HNB » Mon Jan 11, 2021 7:08 pm

I got one of these funky toggles that has three outputs instead of the usual two. How do I wire it correctly? I put the neck and bridge in the normal outer two spots and ran the three outputs together but I end up with neckmid/neckmid/bridge. :(

It looks like if I disconnect A1 but keep b1 and a2 together it should work as normal.

Wow, I've never seen those before. I think a continuity check would solve it, but I have a feeling that I'd still be confused :D

That switch is for a 3 humbucker Les Paul.

Yeah I was dumb and ordered a three way switchcraft right angle toggle and didn't pay enough attention to the picture. LOL

I was right. I disconnected that one and they work as it should. :) I will post a picture in case someone else gets one of these three leg output toggles by accident. :)

Here it is. That lower left guy needs to not be attached to have it function as a typical three way switch. :)
