Foam supporting pickups - how thick is it?

The middle one would be fine, I'm sure. People her have used mousemats, the foam that comes in pickup boxes, anything. This is just weatherstrip foam same as you can get from a hardware store for a tenth of the price.

That self adhesive weatherstrip is 9/16 X 1/2 neoprene. I suppose that that means 9/16 of an inch and half an inch, am I right? I.e. 1.5 cm and 1.75 cm, roughly, right? Long life to the metric system...

Stock is about 1.5cm to 2cm thick. (depnding on the age and depression)
I found a good source at work for these, as they use very simelar, though higher quality foam on the paper cut out forms. I pull the foam of of the old ones they don't use anymmore.

I have two strips, both are self-adhesive and are 1cm thick. That is going to work. Lookin' forward to this weekend
