Just fitted one for the first time the:
Universal All-Rounder (Mylar) 1nF/150KΩ
1nF 100V Mylar Polyester Film Capacitor ±5% (1nF is the same as 0.001µF (Microfarad), and 1000pF (Picofarad))
150kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel
On a 250k single coil & Humbucker vintage output setup.
Treble is maybe to high good not doesn’t loose any brightness turning volume down, as low output single coil.
Thinking it’s too trebly and these other ones… like Dimarzio’s milder one be better?
Anyway comment which works best with what pickups?
And peoples preferences?… the Fender one seems like it should of been the natural choice.
Fender Type 1.2nF/150kΩ/20KΩ
Ceramic 1.2nF Capacitor
150kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel, PLUS a 20kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in series
Seymour Duncan Type 1nF/100kΩ
1nF 100V Mylar Polyester Film Capacitor ±5% (1nF is the same as 0.001µF (Microfarad), and 1000pF (Picofarad))
100kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel
Bill Lawrence Type 330pF/82KΩ
Ceramic 330pF Capacitor
82kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel (Bill Lawrence traditionally use an 80KΩ resistor, but these are very difficult to source - this is close enough!)
Mojo Tone Type 471pF/220KΩ
Ceramic 471pF Capacitor
220kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel
DiMarzio Type 560pF/300KΩ
Ceramic 560pF Capacitor
300kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel
Suhr Type 680pF/150KΩ
Ceramic 680pF Capacitor
150kΩ Metal Film 0.25W Resistor ±1% in parallel
Treble bleed kit or not / cap & resistor combos
