VIntera HH Jaguar- pickup issue

I can't figure this one out- noticed that the neck pick up was not functioning (no sound) I flipped the switch a bunch of times and eventually the sound returned but very faint. I took it all apart and checked all the connections and grounds, everything looked fine so i just put it back together. thought i'd check it one last time and the sound and everything had come back despite me not doing anything. stayed like this for a couple of weeks until today when i went to plug in and play the pick up again was dead, so i took it apart again to see if anything was loose or whatever, same deal nothing and again it worked after reassembly. It didn't last though. I put the guitar back and tried it again about an hour later, pick up was dead again. no idea what the deal is here! is it a bad switch? dying pick up? some bad wiring? how do i figure this out without bringing it to a shop?

Sounds like a bad ( or no ) solder joint.
