Toggle switch lock? Does it exist?

I know people make them for Strat switches but is there anything out there, bar the reliable strip of gaffer tape, that can lock or hold a toggle switch in place to prevent accidental changes?
Damn the LP one is right in the way

I've read that rubbers (i.e. "erasers") are sometimes cut down to jam Mustang/Rhythm-Lead switches on or off. Just wondering if something along those lines could be contrived for a toggle switch. Is this to stick the LP on the bridge setting, perchance?

I use little bits of pick cut to size to fix Rhythm circuits so that makes sense.
Yeah, it's for the LP but I actually don't know why I'm worrying about it, I don't think I'll be gigging with it anytime soon
This thread is kinda pointless

I was trying to visualise a toggle switch and wondering if the ubiquitous Grolsch bottle washer might be of some use, but even if it was it wouldn't look great on a black guitar.

I actually have a big bag of black Grolsch washers that I've been gradually working though for over a decade.

If you've got enough wire and can stand the visual, rotate it a bit. I have the same problem with JMs and that's how I manage it.

Common for on-off toggles - google 'missile switch cover'. Often used in industrial applications. There are other variants for other switch types that are just shrouds/surrounds to prevent accidental knocking but most are probably too bulky to be practical on a guitar. But they are popular for example amongst repro spacecraft enthusiasts for control panels. Google 'toggle switch guard'. 3D printing might offer some more practical options.

Something like the stompshield might also be adaptable ?

Just take that neck pickup and the toggle out already, Johnny!
No, in all seriousness: get to know the position and learn to love it.
On my Les Paul (in what feels like a different lifetime) I used to switch between pickups a lot (Neck on full volume, Bridge on „clean“ so maybe half - with Fuzz of course) and I had the switch turned to 30-45 degrees (from the regular up-down) so I could effortlessly take it with my strumming if I wanted to. Maybe even 90 degrees (like on a Jazzmaster) works best for you as you can‘t hit it from above).
Other than that, if the shaft allows for it: lower it as far as it goes and take the cap of. Lower lever - less danger of getting in the way.
But I also like that rocket launch cage.
Maybe something like that can be mounted instead of the „rhythm-treble“ shield. Or a see-through-dome that needs to be opened first (maybe with two keys at the same time).

I am actually going to exercise some restraint this time. Even I have a line
But yeah, jokes aside - and obvious wild suggestions - I think it's definitely going to be a case of me learning to work around it. No danger of me accidentally changing during a song playing a gig because it's not leaving the house.
Maybe I should chop it in for a 50s Jr

Johnny at his last show, wondering why he just can’t stop changing pickups mid-song with his Les Paul

Jeez. I get enough BJA ribbings from Ptaszek as it is, I don't need it from a second source
