I need some work done on a vintage Gretsch that includes routing the top of the guitar to accommodate full-size Gretsch pickups and then getting it playing and sounding right.
Used to go to 30th Street and love those guys but they seem completely overwhelmed these days and have terrible communication and I don’t want to lose my guitar for months again.
Anyone have someone in Brooklyn or Manhattan they’d recommend?
Thanks!

10 years ago, When I lived in NY, someone recommended me Mamie Minch in this very forum. She's an amazing luthier, guitarist and person. Highly recommended. Her workshop is called Brooklyn Lutherie
