Should I repaint ?

Hello I have a MIJ Jazzmaster that has paint that is cracked, cracked off, and hairline splits in the paint in various places.  Should I repaint and go through the hassle of sanding down the poly or should I just keep it as is?

got any pictures? how bad is the damage? you really have to ask yourself if you can live with it. also, what color is it and are you happy with that color?
