Sorry, I truly did not mean to complicate things. I thought maybe we were joking.

A roller nut has little pulleys on it that the strings ride on so they can roll back and forth with the trem. Some guitars have a roller bridge for the same reason.

Yeah, it's an LSR Roller nut.  I think they're pretty cool for a lot of bar jarring.  I've played a couple newer Fenders with them and they seem to work well.
