Don't I feel like a goof
I'll see if I can find the color I was thinking of and post an example. I had the color code around here someplace, but seem to have missplaced it.

ReRanch has nitro in aerosol cans. They offer many of the Fender colors. I just refinished my '65 Jaguar in Olympic White with their products. They are located in Texas too. The yellow is a dye that Fender used on most of their bodies. ReRanch has that too, as well as aerosols for sunbursting. Make sure to use some grain filler and sand and sealer!
Good luck, and keep us posted!

I love the idea of green! Coolest color for a metallic. Listen to your intuition, after all, it's going to be your guitar.

Ok, here's a pic of the 1967 Camaro in Rally Green (maybe put a stripe on this color?). What finishing products might react adversely with the Bondo? I'd hate to go to all the work to fill that ugly hole only to have it bubble up or swell due to incompatibility.

Dang....that does look sweet. I wish ReRanch had that color in nitro. My daughter is wanting me to refin a Mustang Bass for her in a metallic green. I believe the only thing ReRanch carries in a metallic green is called Sherwood Green. We don't like it veru much because it is too dark.
Is the Rally Green available anywhere in nitro?

Actually, that looks pretty darn close to Sherwood to my eyes...

Really? Man, I hope so. I have not seen a real Sherwood painted instrument, but judging from the pics I have seen I thought it looked darker, maybe less bright than the Rally Green. I kind of related it to Robinhood and Sherwood Forest......kind of like Robinhood's green, felt hat. Maybe I have the wrong impression of it.....maybe I should give another look and reconsideration. If Sherwood is close to Rally Green me and my daughter might be happy with it!

Sherwood varies alot with the light. Let me look for a pic I have of an AVRI in Sherwood...
Edit: Here they are... I sold this one when I lived up in Georgia:
I had a better one sitting in the case in direct sun, but I cant find it. It is a bit darker than that Camaro. Not really darker maybe, but greener.
It's really a very pretty color, vastly underrated IMO.

Isn't it closer to
candy green? But it might be due to how the picture turned up.

I think it looks closer to the candy green. It is actually just a slight bit darker than the candy green. I saw the car again this weekend at a car show and still love that color. It was a 1968 camaro in the Rallye Green.
