First time post!
For a little background, I am a machinist. I am also certified in Solidworks and I have extensive design experience. I have worked in carbon fiber tooling, high-pressure valve components for Starship and I'm going to start my new job tomorrow making race car components.
I want to make a Jazzmaster at home, on my CNC router, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding source material for the model. There seem to be plenty of novelty wall art in Google searches, and I've run across DXFs (I even paid for one to see what was in it) that superficially look like Jazzmasters, but I have not seen a single engineering print that I can base a Solidworks sketch on. I am posting this after spending the entire weekend looking.
I don't know what took me so long to look here on OSG! I may be Jazzmaster-curious, but I already have a Jaguar!
Can someone point me to a proper engineering print of a Jazzmaster?

Re: Jazzmaster in Solidworks
I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t one publicly available … I don’t know if the body shapes are trademarked but if they are an exact engineering drawing might very well elicit a takedown notice.
When thinking about any advice given always ask yourself "why would (s)he know more than I do".
