ok. so i've never been into the johnny marr or traditional style circuit because it's just never worked for me, but i've always liked out of phase pickups because i can get a faux cocked wah sound and in some cases, it can really cut through and make a good lead boost despite the loss in gain. i think like 50% of my guitars have them now.

It looks awesome. I was just curious about the missing knobs. My other guitars have 250k pots, so the idea of skipping the 500k pot for rhythm switch doesn't sound great to me, but I normally play on both pickups, so that would be a shift anyway, unless I want to mess with the wiring. What did you go with for the capacitors? I'm planning on starting with .01uF for each tone, .003uF for choke switch. I'm looking at Lindy Fralin 5% overwound pickups (he's local).

Grab some lacquer thinner and wash it all off. Start over or you won't be happy. Better to go heavier on the sanding sealer, go to bed, and level sand it in the morning when it's hardened with like 600 grit sandpaper.
Your guitar body should look like a nicely glazed donut before shooting color. IMO of course.

That body needed some grainfiller and a lot more sanding. Then a sealer coat, a good primer layer plus about two cans of color before even considering clearcoating.

Yeah next time i'd use a lot more filler.
Since then i've completed the finish, in certain light you can see a light grain texture on the back but it doesn't bother me too much, for my first parts-guar i'm happy.
