It wasn't done poorly. It was made pretty well. Drilling tremolo holes isn't really super easy unless you have a system. I had trouble with it until I figured out what worked for me. The builder just used the predrilled neck holes that were in the neck. That isn't a biggie. It is just one of my ocd things to have the neck mounted straight so the e strings sit the same distance from each edge. :D Other mods were totally visual. :D

It is a wonderful guitar. I was just using it today actually. :D
NICE! My system for drilling trem holes is typically to set it where I want it to be, have the neck on, and run some guide strings from the trem to the headstock to see how they line up, adjust accordingly several times, and finally drill once I'm absolutely certain. It's definitely not the easiest or my favorite thing about doing a build.
