D'oh!  I meant spraying.  Though admittedly, a spraying room would make a good place of worship.  I am convinced that this is the case.

The fumes would certainly intensify the experience, I suppose.

I've often associated nausea with religion.

hehe, I'll blame my little indiscretion of overspraying on the fumes, yeh that's it!

I have been doing some work for an interior design company, so they have allowed me to come in and spray away to my heart's content :)

OK, so here it is! I'm really happy with how the first one came out. There is enough yellow in the paint to be a nice shade of vintage white. All  the harware cleaned up rather nicely, and it sounds very good. Just needs a good setup, and some work on the tremelo. The second body will take a little longer as the parts are not quote as nice as this baby:

It's great to see mistreated guitars restored to their former glory!

Yeh, it's fun to do - but it does take a hell of a lot of time to do properly. The first one turned out really well, and plays and sounds great, much better than my 68 Jag which I have never been able to properly bond with.

OK, I finally got around to finishing Jag number 2. It's a late 63 that used to be 3TS. The finish came up quite well, but you can't really see it on these rough shots.

The neck pickup is busted and needs a rewind, so I stole the PU off my other OW Jag (and the nut as well). It's quite odd, it sounds quite different to the other Jag, even with the same pickup installed. It has given me the best first impression out of my four Jags.

I'm really happy with how the neck ended up - just the right amount of ambered laquer.  Unfortunately I rushed the pickguard a bit, and ended up taking more off than I really wanted around the PU selector plate - but the PG was rather shrunken though.  :-[

So obviously just need the decal and a few strap button screws and she's all done.
