starting new project

Post by dug » Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:17 pm

I'm going to rebuild my jagmaster.

I'm either going to try to get some wide range humbuckers or the gfs ones that are humbucker size.
I want to stain it a dark walnut or mocha color.

here's some ideas what do you guys think?

of course the guitar has a strat bridge instead of the jazz/jag one

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

woo! here's my jagmaster. I could just leave it sunburst and beat the crap outta it.
Its got some places on it anyway. The smaller one was made by a nickel falling on it.

I'm just gonna leave the strat bridge. I can't make up my mind on pickups tho.

Are you going to drop in a jazzmaster trem or no?

lol!

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy the wide range humbuckers.
I'm just afraid I'll ruin the pickguard.

You could let someone custom make a pickguard - there are several people here on the board that can help you : stereordinary, Aug and theworkoffire are three that have the skills and tools.

you are one of the reasons I love this board.

Everyone is so helpful, and they have awesome guitars.
