Jaguar build YouTube videos from Texas Toast
I recently did a series of YouTube videos of a Jaguar guitar build for my day job, Texas Toast Guitars.
There's three of them. Body, Paint, Assembly and Reveal
We use a lot of original style tooling, like pin routers and such, and there might be some stuff you could like. And the finished guitar is pretty great I think.

Masterful work guys! Loved the bit about Dennis Swiden and his finish work. Very classy looking guitar, I love a good wacky metallic burst

That finish is beautiful! That's awesome that you get to make art like that for a living.

Thanks for the photos too. I really enjoyed watching the videos, I've never had access to such interesting machines nor seen anyone build a guitar body.
The weird thing about this was that I didn't notice the pickguard difference until you mentioned it. That's how natural it looks. Well done.

Awesome vids. Love your guys channel.
Is there any "official" orientation to the claws? It seems completely random which side the short pair are on when looking at vintage Jags.
I'm guessing the theory is that the shorter claws will have less inductance and less treble so when placed on the treble side the pickups are more even in EQ across them?
