ISO: custom teisco spectrum v body/neck
Hi folks,
I've got a bit of an itch for a new guitar - in particular, something built around a spectrum v body shape.
Does anyone happen to know of an aftermarket body/neck supplier offering this style? I know Walsh and at least one other are doing full custom builds based on Teisco bodies, but I'm looking to piece something together from parts.
Thanks in advance yall

I had a Hsin-Mi/Kawai in that shape for a very short time and know about Eastwood who made their own hommage.
Other than that: a quick google search led me to THIS: CAD files for a Humbucker equipped variant - for 25 bucks.
If you got someone with a CNC this might me the cheapest and fastest ticket.
I really love the bottom curves of the Spectrum - but the horns are… let‘s say it takes some time getting used to them…
Anyhow: sounds like a fun project! Have fun!

And Schecter made their own… but no funky colours… more metal than 60s.
But for parts… no (other) idea atm.

This seems like a reasonable place to drop a bit of trivia I noticed just a couple days ago:

Thanks again for this link - Luis from Lonely Star made a couple of mods for me, and I have a friend with a CAD-equipped wood shop who can run the job.MayTheFuzzBeWithYou wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 6:22 amOther than that: a quick google search led me to THIS: CAD files for a Humbucker equipped variant - for 25 bucks.
