That's awesome!!!

I just thought of an idea for you. If you ever do a ping pong delay, and continue the Simpsons trend, the graphic should be Jasper (that's a paddlin'" :D A copy of an EQD Talons could be Sam Eagle from The Muppets too. Using cartoon and pop-culture characters could really be endless here 8)
Jasper is on my list of potentials, though, I was thinking of when we froze himself at the Kwik-E-Mart and was made into Frostillicus. I have a bunch of characters I would like to incorporate, but haven't found the right application for. Some of them, I've already done their art, and just need the right match. Then there's a list of circuits I want to build, that need characters, and I need to figure out a good match still. But that all is pretty fun to figure out for me.

I ordered another batch of a dozen enclosures from Tayda the other day. This includes re-doing the two from the previous order, that I made mistakes on. One is a re-box and the other eleven will be new builds. Then I have about twenty more designs ready and another dozen that I am still designing. I keep adding more to the list too - I go down rabbit holes, researching types of circuits, learning about the electronic side and the history side, then adding stuff to my list. I still have major holes too - no wahs or flangers in my collection yet - so there's no end in sight at the moment.

I have lots more amp-in-a-box builds like the Formula 5F6 and Sabbra Cadabra coming up. I don't want/have space for too many more amps, and my solid state Yamaha G50II amp is such a great, clean (and loud) pedal platform, that this seems like the right way forward for me. Besides that, I'm trying to add more classic circuits to my library, with some EHX, BOSS, etc. clones.

-----

And another new build completed. This one is a clone of the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret MkIII - a Marshall Plexi in a box. When I thought about characters with secrets, with a history of sketchy behavior, the most obvious choice was Moe Szyslak. Dude was smuggling Pandas and Orcas!

Good choice with Moe! If you ever make another DLS, you could use Mr. Burns or Abe as a WWII vet, because of the tontine and Fighting Hellfish :)

Frozen Jasper would be an awesome EQD Avalanche Run (as would the sleeping Professor on skis from Futurama), but I don't see programming DSP to be a fun job for making DIY pedals. How about Fry with the holophonor as a harmonizer pedal? All my years of watching The Simpsons and Futurama are really coming in handy here :D

Forgot to mention that this is kind of where I'm at too. I've got my bass amp, but I'm tempted to sell it since I usually play bass direct with a bass amp DI type of thing, and I feel like the Boss IR-200's bass amp models into my studio monitors would do everything I want to and more possibly.

I keep thinking about amp-in-a-box pedals for the amp sounds that the IR-200 doesn't have (Soldano SLO-100 sound, Rectifier maybe) and that pairing them with a cab IR that goes well with it could be a lot of fun. I really love the sound of the Crazy Tube Circuits Hipower (Hiwatt) pedal paired with a Fane cab IR that I found. I'm kinda tempted to ask you if you'd take a commission for some of these pedals ;)

Futurama you say?

I need to revisit the graphics on this one, but it sounds awesome (Hudson Broadcast). I have something with Zoidberg designed and ready to order as well.

That's fantastic!!!! I love the bare polished aluminum/silver enclosure, and the pot descriptions :D

What circuit for Zoidberg?

:D :D

I've never heard that circuit/pedal. Original design or is it based on something?

It's a boutique "transparent" OD that came out in the late 90s. It's supposed to be based on a Boss SD-1. I've never played one, but I remembered hearing about it, and it's supposed to be well regarded, so thought I'd make one.

I feel like I'm going to need to give you more money at some point with these pedals.
Quoting myself because it's a continuation of thought but not actually related to my original thought...

I'm currently building a Tube Screamer kit (with mods) and I was just thinking... Is there a cartoon of a screaming tube anywhere? :w00t:
Okay, I was inspired to throw this together real fast. It's Hank Hill as a vacuum tube, so ya know, that's a thing that exists now.

Hank should be a treble booster (decreased bottom end).

Yup, go for it! I can provide you with a higher quality image or even an SVG or PDF if you need it too.

Gracias! I've found a few sources for UV DTFs that I'm going to be doing some graphics with, so as high a resolution as I can provide would rock.
