I normally don'r like the truncated explorer look, but these have a balance to them that really works. Like some alternate universe Danelectro vibe. Love the FB pickups too.
If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.

This shape explorer (is it originally the 'Clapton cut'?) and the single pickup is my jam. I like this.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Man those all look great! You've got an excellent eye for appropriate aging as well. Love the shapes too - always thought that would be the most difficult part but all of yours look just - correct. Know what I mean? Like those shapes were meant to be guitars. Nice work!

Nice builds. That yellow / honey-finished guitar midway through the photo list made me think of the St. Vincent signature guitar from Ernie Ball (a good thing!).

thanks all... my first few builds where VERY inpsired / a rip off of Ben Wasser guitar and Novo's... And the st.vincent and Mariposa where 100% borrowed from as well...
Starting to do more of my own stuff, but it's hard to be inspired by what's out there... so much cool stuff being made.
Thanks again for the comments.
Cheers
Mark

Yeah, the Wasser is very obvious in them. Not a bad thing, I was fixing to buy one last year until I learnt more about the company.
I could be tempted to adapt one myself from a kit. Which one did you use/would you recommend... and experiences with?

The mad Tele esque one with the B/G bender is beautiful man, love the shape and the wee cut out along the top of the body. Is that a rotary style pick up selector? Also what does the knob/button underneath the middle pick up do? Lovely work anyways man

These are amazing!!! Of your pictures, #2 and #3 really stand out to me. #3 especially as I'm a sucker for anything Jazzcaster/Telemaster related

Thanks... That's a kill switch. I tried to go full jack white on that one... Pickups, benders, drop D, kill switches...
