Based on past experience, I'd say the scottish pickguard in the For Sale section would only fit American Jazzys.

to fit it on a CIJ you would have to drill several new holes.

But then again, would it hurt to drill a few new holes? I mean if you fill the old ones with some toothpics and or woodfiller and carefully sand flat, perhaps even do a bit of paint up (it will be hidden under the pickguard, right? so it won't be visible...) and drill some new holes. I'm planning on doing this as I ordered a "Eden" gold guard for my CIJ JM as well.
For me it really doesn't matter that much. As long as the guard itself will fit. I did buy the cheapest Gold Guard I could find as I can't be bothhered with the direction of the brushing.
I'll see how it turns out and do a picture post on this conversion and a "Eden" gold guard review as well. The Eden guard is claimed to be for AVRI JM's as well. So we'll see

No, it will not fit for sure. If your plan was to install it backwards so it would fit a lefty guitar, you would be very disapointed because the underside of those guards do not have any brushing and the screws holes would not be countersunk... It would look really bad IMO.

Re: Scottish Guard on CIJ ?
when I put the gold guard (allpart?) on my CIJ body, I had to enlarge the thimbles holes
and some screw holes were misaligned
but nothing hideous.

Backwards installation + drilling holes make me think this is not a great idea...
Thx for the help !
