The top knows best- I would do a plexi guard with the back sprayed in LPB, or! A Blue Anodized guard!

Well... actually, I would do fiesta-cota with a white guard, but...

I'd like to see how a silver anodized guard would look on this.... or even a guard done in the body colour? Not sure on that one, but curious to see how it might look.

Cheers for all the suggestions - it won't be anodized on this one, but I like the idea of trying to go for the blue sprayed on the back of a clear guard. I have mint and parchment blanks here, too, so there's always a backup.

The weather is miserable, and I'm busy with proper work, but I've managed to get the colour coats on - about a rattle-can and a half in 4 sessions.







The shed's a bit dark, so the colour's a bit heavy in the pics - hopefully it will lighten up a bit in daylight.

but you don't clear coat immediatly ? cause metallic normally need clear coat less than 2 hours after or it became to oxyde ?

I can't remember hearing of that before, Ludo, and I've never noticed any evidence of it when leaving coats overnight. How would it affect the finish?

Surely the metallic flakes are mica, not actual metal - as far as I'm aware mica is inert and won't oxidize.
