Thanks man. I'm glad it worked out. I just picked up a used Squier Mini strat for my son. It's black with a white pickguard - not very cool for kids (it also comes in red and pink). I think I'm going to shoot some turquoise metallic on it, and if there's enough room on that small body, perhaps even paint competition stripes in orange or something that would make it more inviting for a kid to pick up and play.
