i was in the GPR site to buy some pieces for my project, and i saw there wasn't the same things on their site and in their ebay shop...
that's weird...
for example, the black Jazzmaster covers are on the site but not on the ebay shop
and the Jaguar aged pup covers are in the ebay shop, but not on the site...

i'll have to make two orders !?!

Fantastic project pat !

It's quite fun we both tool the same starting point (Tele 72 custom) but choosed 2 different directions: mine is clearly on the Jazzmaster side and yours is more on the Tele custom side.  :)

I meant it in a good way.  Your last project rocked ass, so I'm excited about this one.  :)
thanks again  ;)

if I put a '52 RI tele pickup, it needs a 250K pot for the volume
but if I put a put a P90 or a BurstBucker, what kind of pot will I need ?

as i only want two knobs, I think it'll only have two volumes.
Normal P90 are quite dark (GreenAngel confirmed this since he had his goldtop JM) and I think they're usually used with 500K Pots.

Now the SD phat cats are brighter so they might work well with 250K... And I read the DM burstbucker have lots (too much ?) of treble so 250k might be a perfect choice.

update !!
this project is stopped for the moment because i just found a CIJ Jazzmaster body :)

so i decided to put the MIM strat neck on the JM body and keep the idea of the Offset Tele for the next time...

I start a new thread for the JM build.

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

No - but something fresh (if you can call the tele "fresh"  ;D ) and new is always exciting...
