Re: A Bigsby on a Tele
i've got a bigsby going onto a baritone telecaster. i don't see why people get so offended by the idea. i love bigsby vibrato. firm and subtle.

Re: A Bigsby on a Tele
If I hade a tele, I would want a Bigsby on it. If the curse thing brought about the guitar not staying in tune or the neck keep falling off, which I don't think would happen, I could always remove the Bigsby. I personally think they add a lot of show and sound options to the Tele

Re: A Bigsby on a Tele
Hmmm, I think a bigsby plays a bit different then a regular Floating trem. Hard to explain. But I found the range on a Floating trem wider then on a bigsby.
I played both a Floating trem and a Bgsby equiped Tele. The overall sound is about the same, but the trem is a different thing, probably due the bridge as the Bigsby tele I played had a TOM on it. I guess when you put a Buzzstop on the Floating trem, string tension would be like the Bigsby. But I don't really like Buzz stops....
