Re: black JM pickup covers?
I couldn't find the JM Screws on the Parts is Parts, probably not looking hard enough. But I was told they were the same as tele neck screws . . . NOT true. The ones I got were way too big. I've drilled out my covers but they're still too tight.

Re: black JM pickup covers?
When I bought mine (can't actually remember if it was Parts Is Parts or GPR) there was a minimum order amount so I ended up with 24 more screws than I really needed.
I'm gonna keep hold of a set but that leaves 2 more full sets of 8.
So PM me if you need em. There seems to be more than 2 people who are after them so I'm afraid its "first come first served".
EDIT - Hold on a second. I just referred to the diagram in this thread & my screws are smaller. I'll post a photo when my camera battery has charged a bit.
OK. I checked back through my emails. Here's my order.....

The top screw is one a guitar tech gave me. He said it was from a P-Bass.
The bottom screw is one of the Parts Is Parts screws.....

Are they too small to be JM screws? Have I ordered the wrong ones??

You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Re: black JM pickup covers?
the ones i have are the same as the long one on your pic (3.6cm)
and they are definitely too long
I was unable to screw them enough to maintain the pups covers.

Re: black JM pickup covers?
Just for the record folks, the picture of an order for screws I posted above might not be the right order.
Like a few people I ordered the wrong ones first. I can see now that the pictured order was for 16 screws. The correct pack I've just found contain more than that.
I think they must have come from GPR. I can't remember. Terrible memory.
The trouble is I tore off the cardboard & binned it, then stapled shut the plastic bag, without any markings. Not very sensible or organised. Thats me I guess!!!
