That is indeed an awesome colour..... "with no fading to the incredibly rare Inverness Green finish" according to the description:theworkoffire wrote: I want the colour to be something like this old Epiphone:

Re: MOTORIK II
I wasn't totally happy with my last version of this with the one-piece pickguard. So I made a new one.

Only subtly different, but I like this better.

Re: MOTORIK II
Just doing a side-by-side so I can see how different it is from the original guard...

I had to make the original one fatter above the bridge pickup to accommodate the switches, but this one doesn't need that...think I like it, Paul.

Well, I'm happy to send you the file for it, if you decide to use it.

Re: MOTORIK II
I am seriously loving this, Ben. You don't think the Starcaster-style headstock might be a win, though, with the Pelham blue repeated in the stripe? I loved the headstock on MOTORIK - it was definitely in my top 500 favourite things about that guitar. Although, items 1 to 500 in that list were equal entries.
Damn, that was a fine guitar. If I'd had the money to buy it when you sold it... ahhhh well.
Seriously, one of the very nicest instruments I've ever played.

Y'see, when you put it like that, Rob, the mouse starts drifting towards the folder marked 'headstocks'...we'll see.idiotbear wrote:I am seriously loving this, Ben. That's really nice, Paul!
...and a +1 on the headstock.

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Too much. I won't bore you with the picture, but it looks like a shoe with a green sole.my bloody television wrote:black headstock with pelham stripe? or is that too much...
