Firemist silver(or that's what it was supposed to be anyway.

Hi all!
When I was looking for some Ice blue metallic color for my strat project a few months ago I stumbled over a place that could also mix Firemist silver (or blue as Cadillac called it 1964).

I've always wanted a Jaguar in that color so I slowly began to collect parts while finishing both my Stratocaster and the black Jazzmaster.

As of now, I have allmost every part needed to complete this one.

As you can see, the color is not what you'd expect the Firemist silver should look like. In IMO it should be less blue and less green. This is evident depending in what light it is in.

The neck is a 1966 D&B neck. The other parts is mid 60'. Pots dates to 1965. Body is from Guitarmill. Didn't have the patience to wait for the right vintage one to pop up... (body pics above before polishing)
Yesterday I polished the body out and I like the result. (there's some polishing left on this pic, but you'll get the idea)

The heel of the neck was repaired at some point but holds together with no issues what so ever.

I will start assembling this the parts I've got this weekend so stay tuned...
