Hi, i just bought a CIJ jag thats in pretty bad shape. Would anyone have info on setting up the trem/trem lock and installing a foam mute? As it is a CIJ it doesn't have holes drilled in the body to accomodate the mute but the scratchplate does..
Cheers.

For the tremlock, it's just "trial and error"... Just lock the tremlock, notice how much space you have left until the trem locks, adjust the screw, retune, notice how much space,....

Re: Jag repair.
Thanks! I've only seen a handful of jags in this country, so this place is pretty cool!

I installed a 'mute' on one of my CIJ models. Its not difficult to do if you have a few wood skills, if your interested i will try to dig the thread up for you?.. its on jag-stang.com somewhere.
