If you look at soniques pics, the bridge slugs pertrude less than on neck pup.
Me thinks this is only due to deeper bobbin on bridge pup.
Mind still blown over lower k on "fat" bridge pup though

Absolutely correct, I meant to say "coils". I had a set of these pickups, so I got to compare them directly.
By winding around a higher percentage of the magnets, the pickup fits in more turns of the fat wire and inductance is increased.

Do you know what guage the thicker wire is on the fat?
Im gonna get a pup wound "CV fat XII style" for my next project

So..."FAT XII" bridge pickup:
Around 10000 turns of AWG41 wire per coil, circa 6.6K, RWRP
Bobbin is "full" height.
