Stencilworks On Guitars
Formerly called Squier Duo-Sonic Jagmaster Punkguitarproject:
Found a squier cv duosonic body for a nice price and thought, it's time for a new project... In my head i see a punk/stencil-guitar inpired by joe strummers teles. On search for a neck i stumbled on a squier vista jagmaster neck. It's true shortscale, so i have to move the bridge.
My thoughts are going to a black punkrockguitar with stencil artwork on it. First skribbles on photoshop look like this:
At the moment i don't know if i go with stripes or not - time will come.

those jagmaster necks are so cool! my $.02, i’ve always thought street-style super sloppy stencil work would look neat on a beater guitar. maybe over top of the clear coat?

.
For a guitar with attitude ... you need a 4-way Tele switch in there so you can put both pickups in series. A stealth Les Paul.
The other way is a push/pull tone pot to go series.

every day some work...
no control with the gasmask does not work for me - don't want to wear a tinfoil head while playing

Hell yes.
I know the NO CONTROL theme is gone now, but you could bring it back by having the guitar have... no controls! Everything hardwired on 10 all the time!

I dig it! How do you find the paint adhesion on the pickguard? Tempted to try something similar with my Bronco bass.

Re: Squier Duo-Sonic Jagmaster Punkguitarproject
Due to it's a goldanodized alu pickguard adhesion is good. How long it lasts - i don't know. Time will show... But as a matter of construction it would be nice to see soon some scratches and traces of using on it.
