Hi all
i beguin to think about the wiring of my marauder ,(lot of switch and option )
as i think of it i make my choose and wanted
Bass VI lead circuit (jag with one more pups in fact) for the 3 switchs (pups) and for the 2 others switch in the plate the bass cut(thin switch) and a serie parallele inversor, volume and tone1 meg with 56k resistor like a jag
for the rythm circuit i wanted to control all the pups too
but with a different volume pot (250 k or 500k) (will try to choose but on one of my jazz 250 K work well for both volume and tone) and the tone 1 meg or 500 K maybe ?)
i stay near jaguar circuit for capacitor ,i will experiment later (it is more easy than a jazzmaster to change a cap on a jag or a marauder)
do you have some input to try ?
i am a little rusted on circuit diagram and will made a paper diagram before wiring

Re: Marauder II wiring but not the vintage one
i have done more than 80% of the works and i find a way to have for both circuit the parrallele/ serie setting +the thin switch
but what is the more interresting ?
bridge pickups + middle pickups in serie
middle + neck in serie
or
bridge + neck in série
?
i don't know what to choose
maybe the bridge + middle will be more humbucker style ? cause the pups are more near
i find in my part bin a 50/500 k dual pot and a 3 positions switch that make me think i can use it for the rythm circuit ,this way i could have 1 meg pot for lead circuit ,250 k vol and 5OOK tone or 50 k tone for rythm circuit ,need to think about the wiring but it is doable (it will made the jazz rythm circuit for all pups )

That's a gorgeous marauder! Never seen a sparkle one. Love it.
What did you do for the rhythm circuit brackets?

Re: Marauder II wiring but not the vintage one
for the rythm at this time is 250K volume and 1meg ton for all pups ,i will try if it works first ,after if i am not lazy maybe i will try to have a concentric pot with 500 k /50 k with a new 3 ways switch to put the jazz circuit for all pups too (i rarely use it on jazzmaster (never in fact with the neck pick ups only))
but to try it first i don't want to make something too complicated in wiring cause when wiring don't works it is big headhache each time
