American Professional Jaguar HS?

Has anyone modded their American Professional Jaguar to an HS configuration?
I'm thinking about adding a humbucker in the bridge and changing the switching to a traditional 3-way switch.
Has anyone done this, and any ideas on where to buy the pickguard, or should I route the current pickguard for this change?
I find the stock single coil in the bridge isn't great, in fact I wouldn't mind changing the neck pickup to something a little fatter as well.
Just looking for ideas or feedback.
