Jazzmaster with baritone conversion neck questions
I have a cheap Bacchus Global series Jazzmaster-style guitar that I`m going to pair with
a Warmoth conversion neck and tune A to A. With the added length of the strings behind the
bridge on a JM-style guitar, I`m assuming I`ll need quite long strings.
Has anyone here done that mod and if so, what strings did you end up using?
Any other things to be considered?
Thanks.

Re: Jazzmaster with baritone conversion neck questions
I built the pink one, using a 27" scale Allparts neck, the Silver Sparkle one uses a custom neck from BYO Guitar. I use 13-62 Baritone Light Gauge Strings from D'Addario. There's not much else to say other than make sure your nut is properly cut. it's a pretty simple conversion.

yeah. i did it on my yanderemaster. strings are the big issue but the D'Addario strings are long enough....... just. anyway. have a picture of a guitar that comes when you have no taste.

The Ernie Ball Baritone strings I had, wasn't long enought. Have to order some D'Addario strings for it.
It's also not possible to intonate correctly so my plan is to get a Staytrem Bass VI bridge. Otherwise I'll have to plug and re-drill the bridge posts.

If you flip the bridge so the adjustment screws face the neck, there’s ample room to adjust the intonationhanspanzer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 8:05 amThe Ernie Ball Baritone strings I had, wasn't long enought. Have to order some D'Addario strings for it.

As you can see I have no room at all. The saddles are maxed out and it`s still needs more adjustements.

Have you shimmed your neck?
