Best tool for minor-but-crucial pickguard work?

I have a B/W/B guard on which I need to enlarge the pickup routes by like...1-2mm. Not even all the way around the cutout either.
Is a mini router/Dremel type tool the best thing for this? I was thinking a file and/or a razor blade, but that is taking FOREVER to make any progress.

If it was me, I’d stick with the file and blade and take the time. It’s too easy to take too much off with a dremel and ruin the guard. At least it is for me...

Yeah I'd stick with the file. Sure, it takes longer, but it takes even longer (and costs more) to have to get a new pickguard and do it all over again but slower.

File or sandpaper around a small block is what I would do. Dremel can take off too much easily.
