Ay yay yay. Folks, it's an idea for a guitar with a single pickguard. I don't happen to have a solid front Jazzmaster on hand so I laid it on what I do have.
Anyway, here's the idea. This isn't exactly a Jazzmaster--it's my reshaped version of one--but the guard idea works the same.

It doesn't look that terrible but at this point the mashups are just getting out of control all over the place..
See for the original one that you posted I was going to suggest a Strat jack on top of a Tele bridge..

Tort guard on a black guitar makes anything acceptable. I like the bottom version a lot, and the bound neck plays well with the edge of the pickguard.
