It fits, just sayin'...
Although provisions would have to be made for the volume knob.

That's pretty funny.
A pickguard on a pickguard is a real hat on a hat scenario, though.

Tell people it's there for tone. People will believe anything if you say it's for tone.

Honestly? Not as is, but I think you could do a really cool hardtail/trapeze tailpiece ala the early 50s LPs. Stacked vol/tone per pickup, P90s or PAFs, maybe a faded burst and nickel hardware? Not gonna lie I think it would look pretty hot if done right.

I agree except on Harvesters. They look great on his designs. a luthier "Daddy Mojo Instruments" pulled it off recently as well.

You wouldn't put it on one with a stock pickguard, you'd use it on one with rear access controls. "Wood front." Or whatever you call that style.

The Harvester that came up on a google image search works, but it's because of body coloring I think. To me the colors in the original post feel that they clash a bit more than gel.

You should apply to Fender. They've been putting out quite a few questionable mash ups lately.. This would fit right in.

Giving ideas to Chibson USA . Watch when they 'release' a triple pickguard Les Paul.
