Long overdue update...
Have been busy finishing this one (as well as other projects). A few updated pics.
Pickguard came from MJT with the body. Looks like a layer of lacquer on the surface to give it the vintage tint. Not sure how that's going to hold up. Here is a mockup with a modern mustang bridge - will need to swap that out for a 7-1/4" radius bridge.
Shielding to try and keep this one quiet...

Finished guitar ! All I'm missing is the mute... Getting all the wiring to fit was no easy task. Glad I had the pre-wired harness. Overall a great first project. This thing plays and sounds great.
I slapped the bridge back on way too fast - I know it's backwards... Picked up this vintage mustang bridge on eBay. The trem is also an original from the '60s. Plays great.
